My name's Kel, I'm 24 and currently living in Adelaide, South Australia. I moved here 10 months ago to be with :devadam1975: (who I love to bits) and to get a fresh start after a couple years of bad luck. I've lived around most of Australia with only a couple of states to go before I've lived in them all.... though I don't plan on actually doing that. ;)

My name is Braiden Alexander Michetti. I'm 17 years of age and am currently in year 12 with Photography as one of my chosen subjects. Gotta love those spare periods! I'm a pretty shy and quiet guy around new people as some people around here who might've met me would know, but I am an absolute nut when I am in the company of my friends. Hailing from a small area out in country Victoria, Australia, I spend a lot of my days wandering around avoiding the work that comes with a farm, which eventually catches NuDeviouS presents: Braidy

I'm Tom, hail from a little bit out from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The town has nothing -- and I mean nothing -- so without any form of easy transport I'm here on the computer. I'm coming on 20 this year (OH NOES!) and I'm currently a Uni student studying Planning, and it's mainly serving as a distraction from this place.   
My passions revolve around: Maree, music, sport, comedy and art in a sense. I've never really been able to get my head around the drawing/painting aspect of art, so I NuDeviouS presents: ...

It is, I suppose, inevitable that my upbringing has had a profound effect upon who I am, and in turn how my approach to art has developed. My early years were spent in the Valleys of South Wales – a schizophrenic environment when the landscape of miners’ terraced houses clinging to the hillside segues seamlessly into crags and fern-garnished mountainsides, vigorous brooks and secluded woodland. Welcome back to NuDeviouS everyone! For those of you who have only just picked us up, welcome to =NuDeviouS We're glad to be of service ;)

Making news this fortnight:

=nyssi has redone some of her fantastic Photoshop tutorials which you can find here. If you're wanting to learn the basics then make sure you check these out as they are a fantastic beginners guide :aww:

IdeAS 2005 - A Photojournalism Contest [link]
Contest runs in 3 parts, first one beginning 1st April until the 30th June. Please read news article for full details.

Good vs. Bad Photography Contest, This is your chance to boldly declare your allegiance to GOOD or BAD or at least to firmly and resolutely straddle the line between the two! It's your call to epic battle for photographic supremacy, with money and fame as your trophies, so that you may hoist them above your head and declare, "I am the champion of GOOD/BAD/BOTH!"Check out the article if you're interested, it looks like it's going to be a great battle :aww:

Basically what we do here is find artists we think are worthy of some credit around DeviantART.

We will be updating each fortnight; featured artists and pieces.

We are not just a visual group, we also cover prose and poetry :aww:

We pick who we here think are worthy... as with any opinion, there are obviously some that you'll agree with and some that you wont. There will be people who's style you wont be interested in and people that you will be. It's down to personal taste :) That's also why we suggest you guys send in things too, then we know what you're wanting ;p

Just a couple of things for everyone to know:

:bulletblue: If anyone has any suggestions for featured artists, please let us know here via note. Please note that the artist needs to have under 5000 pageviews to be featured here.

:bulletgreen: Also if you find any deviations that you think are worthy of a mention send them in too, we will be having featured pieces as well as featured artists :)

:bulletblue: Feel free to note us with suggestions on anything to do with the ND group. We love feedback here so if you see something you don't like, or that you love, let us know :aww:

I came across Tunc in one of my wanders around the photography gallery and I gotta tell you, this guy is probably one of the best I've come across so far when it comes to =NuDeviouS. With great variety in his gallery, you can't go wrong here. He certainly has a knack for portraits, although he also seems to favour architecture. Bold beautiful colours are what attracted me to his gallery, and I'm sure you'll all love it too! My pick would have to be his latest piece, just for it's wonderful colouring and contrasts. :aww:

I featured Ryan a couple of months back in our Photographer's Special Issue, and I'm happy to say that he's gotten even better since the last time I saw him :aww: He has a strong focus on nature as of late, which are absolutely delightful. is a wonderful shot, I don't fully know why I like it.. I just do ;p
